Ross
County were not out of the match yet, they had a few half chances
and probably even a good call for a penalty, but as we know at
Airdrie when it's not going for you, there is very little you
can do to fix it other than work hard and hope it's enough.
It could have
and should have been two - nil to the Diamonds a corner from Kevin
Barkey bounced about in the penalty area until Brian Prunty fired
in a tame shot, tame it may have been but it fooled young Joe
Malin in the Ross County goals. Gary Twigg was judged to be off
side and although he never touch the ball as it broke through
the defence he was probably interfering with play.
So a long
trip on a cold windy day, sees Airdrie coming home with all three
points after a credible performance, what more can you ask? |
