On a cold day in Dumfries, Queen of the South and Airdrie United played out a draw in what was to be a non event.

There were not many chances made by either team in a game that I think both managers would have been hoping to take more from.

However a point gained at this stage of the season is not to be sniffed at.

The only real talking point of the game was a late penalty claim from Owen Coyle that was waved away by referee Willie Young.
