if you are interested in using the 5 a side facilities as we will be building up a data base of interested parties and allocating free memberships over the coming months to those who contact us.
We intend to convert the 11 a side pitch next year to a FIFA 2 star 3G plastic turf pitch. A number of issues have held this back until next year but this gives us more time to prepare and make the correct decisions as far as surface, under soil heating systems etc. Fitting an under soil heating system along with the appropriate FIFA quality of plastic pitch makes the stadium SPL/FIFA compliant. This opens up the door for the stadium and pitch to be used more frequently for day to day football. We also intend to host concerts at the stadium over the coming years and the plastic pitch will make this financially feasible and practical. Due to popular demand, we are installing Sky TV in our supporters bar, corporate boxes and also in the small bar next to the main function suite. We will have 3 large TV screens in the supporters bar with a view to screening all the top matches before and after kick off on a Saturday. The small bar will be available for private functions. Due to a number of requests, children will also be able to access the main bar from the start of the new season.
