A late Kevin MacDonald penalty earned Airdrie a share of the points today against Scottish Cup finalists Ross County.
Airdrie had the best of the 1st half and were unlucky to go in at the break level. John Bairds effort mid way through the 1st half was the closest when he beat the offside trap to race through on goal. County's goalie McGovern got a hand on Bairds effort and this proved enough to prevent the ball crossing the line.
With the wind at their backs Ross County came out in the second half in more determined fashion and in 63minutes Steven Craig converted from close in. Airdrie pressed for the equaliser but it wasn't until the 90th minute that the equaliser came when Keegan was fouled in the box and MacDonald rifled home to level. Airdrie now travel to Somerset Park on Wednesday night in a must win game.
