 Paul Lovering: Paul needs no introduction to Airdrie fans and The Club are delighted that Paul is still with us. A leading light at the end of last season with a team spirit and a wealth of experience that will be invaluable this year.
Jamie Bain: Jamie is a natural right back but is equally comfortable in the centre of defence if needed.He has been with the under 19s for 2 years and last yaer he won the POTY, the Players POTY and also the inaugural winner of the John Ballantyne Shield.Given the chance, Jamie also likes to press forward and he has scored several goals from set pieces. A welcome addition to the squad.Jamie has signed till 2012
Tony Watt: Tony is an out and out goal scorer promoted from last years 17s. He also won the 17’s POTY and players POTY.His contract is till 2012 and he made an impressive start in the recent friendly games.At 6ft 1 and extremely quick, he will be looking to cause a few problems for defenders this season. Rhys Devlin: Comfortable as a holding or attacking midfielder, Rhys shows a confidence beyond his 19 years. He was with St Mirren last year and was 1 of the squad who put our youth team out of the Scottish Youth Cup before losing to Rangers in the semis. Gary Muir: Gary is an attacking midfielder who returned to Scotland in the summer after a spell with Ballymena.Gary has agreed on 1 year deal and at present we are awaiting International Clearance. We have agreed terms with Falkirk FC to take 2 players on loan and the paperwork is currently with the SFL/SFA. This should all be processed and accepted today. Kieran Stallard and Euan Grant are both defenders and featured in the recent game at Cove Rangers. More details will follow as the week goes on.
