Airdrie returned from their trip north with nothing to show for there endeavours.  Goals in each half were enough to secure the home win for Caley Thistle and send Airdrie to the foot of the table. 

With the 1st half coming to an end goaless Dani Sanchez managed to poke the ball past Stephen Robertson on the stroke of half-time.  Just after the break Airdrie had a chance to equalise but John Baird failed to capitalise.  In the 69th minute substitute Eric Odhiambo made it 2-0 to put the game well beyond the visitors.
